  • eblg1 : djsmoove196, I love house music. Its the venue, the lobby I don't care for. Nevertheless, in Columbus Ohio the people our very tribal here. You join groups., not apart of 'the group' your event may struggle. Sad but true. You either gotta join someone else's or create your own and let it grow.

Seeking Participants For An Eye Study

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this study is to take various eye measurements on healthy individuals

identifying with African American ethnicity to determine what normal values are for this

racial group. This may help us understand the normal changes that occur in the eye

between different races and may assist in earlier diagnosis of some eye disorders.

WHAT IS REQUIRED:

A two hour office visit to the Department of Ophthalmology in Cramblett Medical Clinic at the OSU Medical Center is required to participate in this study. Nine different measurements will be taken on one eye of each participant.

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE:

Each participant will be compensated $20 plus the cost of

parking for their time.

ELIGIBILITY:

Participants who are eligible must be African American, at least

20 years of age, and have not been diagnosed with any type of

ocular disorder or had any kind of eye surgery. Individuals who

have been diagnosed with diabetes, hypertension, or who are

currently pregnant are not eligible to participate.

HOW TO APPLY:

Call  Kendra at 614-293-7039 to schedule a mutually convenient

 appointment time.
